If you’re making your way to or through South East Queensland’s northern beaches on your way up from Brisbane, there’s a fair chance that you’re going to spot the Sunshine Coasts spectacular Glass House Mountains. And by fair chance, there’s absolutely no way of missing them unless there’s an apocalyptic-looking fog shrouding these stunning peaks.
While some of the Glass House Mountains don’t look anything fancy, several of the 13 shard-like mountains are unmistakable. Jutting up sharply from a field of plains and each separate unto their own, peaks such as Mt Beerwah, Mt Coonowrin and Mt Tibrogargan are just some of the mountains that are sure to take your breath away.
And nestled between each of these peaks lies roads, towns and suburbs which provides an endless amount of vantage points to snap-a-pap of these dominating mountains. Happy Exploring!
